The Ramadan Fashions Trends to Follow in 2018
Eid-al-Fitr. Eid-al-Fitr is a much awaited holiday after the month long fasting of Ramadan. A special occasion like that surely calls for a special celebration! With the masses becoming more and more fashion forward every day, designers have introduced full-fledged lines of Eid outfits that boast of the most envious styles in Pakistani clothing. Let’s take a look at what’s trending hot this Eid 2018:
Heavy Abaya Style Suits
Abayas as we all know were introduced as a protective clothing in pure black that was meant to cover the whole body and traditionally worn with a hijab. However, with changing times abayas have also evolved and entered mainstream fashion. Now abayas are in fact worn as a three piece clothing like salwar suit in many colors, textures and embellishments. For a head to toe modest piece of clothing, this we must say is an elegant statement making style that you should definitely try!
Flared Shararas
If you are a Bollywood fan you surely know what a sharara is! Sharara and kameez were quite a hit combo in the early 2000s. Thanks to star designer Manisha Malhotra, we donned shararas in all its glory and didn’t we love it! Now they have made a grand comeback yet again. Many Bollywood actresses are spotted nowadays experimenting with this style. Sharara is a pretty basic silhouette of a highly flared pant which gives the illusion of a skirt paired with a kameez. From highly embellished to plain shararas with anarkali, a lot many options are there for you try your hands on and find out what suits you the best.
No Ghagra But Ghararas!
Gharara is a very common Pakistani style suit which resembles a sharara but do not get confused because there’s a world of difference! Gharara is another pair of wide legged pants but unlike the sharara it flares from below the knee. A thick band or lace/gota is traditionally used to mark the partition where the gathers start to flare out from. The key to getting a gharara right is understanding your body. For a small & petite figure, a crop top with gharara and dupatta is a stellar combination. The curvy ladies out there can opt for a short kurti or kameez ending at the knee which will enhance your best body curves beautifully. You can even pair it with a long kurta that will make you look taller and enunciate your features in the most wonderful ways.
Embellished Bottoms
In the last 2 years, kameez with pants have taken over quite remarkably. With the trend of embellished bottoms, it’s getting even better. Fitting styles like cigarette pants in embroidered details are a hot seller while laced tulip style pants are quite a glamorous replacement for the usual salwar. Light kameez with heavy embroidered shararas are also a great option for those looking for a change.
